Essential Digital Skills Qualifications (EDSQ)
In 2019, the Department for Education released the intent for a new qualification framework to address the skills gap. From a report commissioned in 2018 they found that:
11.3 million people (21%) lack the full basic digital skills
4.3 million (8%) have no basic digital skills at all
5.4 million working adults (10%) are without basic digital skills
people with a registered disability are 4 times as likely to be offline
28% of those aged 60+ are offline

TLM are now able to offer access to EDSQ at both Entry Level and Level 1.
The Essential Digital Skills qualifications (EDSQs) will be automatically funded for adults who do not have the basic digital skills they need for life and work.
Due to the high demand for this qualification in light of the announcement of funding removal for all other ICT and Digital qualifications from August 2021 we would ask if you could please complete this form to express your interest.
